Engineering

  • From April 2021 - August 2022, I was a Design Engineer in Elgin IL. I worked for a small company of about 75 people where we made food packaging machines. I was promoted from the Machine Shop to Design Engineer to bring my experience in CNC to the design team. In this role I was trained on Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks. I mostly worked on prototype projects as well as making ECOs for parts and assemblies that could better use our CNC machines and their capabilities.

  • From August 2022 to March 2024, I was a Design and Process Engineer in Wood Dale IL. In this role I designed tooling and equipment to support industrial manufacturing to improve assembly quality and implement digital analysis tools to ensure top build quality. I also provide my abilities as a problem solver for any issues that occurred to failing equipment or damaged parts. It was in this role I started to vastly improve my skills in 3D printing.

  • In April of 2024 I moved with my now wife, Sarah, to Seattle WA. I joined a small company based in Redmond WA as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Machinist. In this role I designed full products and assemblies for various US Military divisions as well as US allied Military divisions. I provided full design assemblies in which I designed parts and drawings using high precision and GD&T to ensure my designs worked on the first build. It was in this role I built upon my design skills, my 3D printing skills and continued to hone my skills and abilities in our small machine shop.
